Ibiza Tips

Dining habits
Spaniards dine late – certainly not before 9:30pm and usually not until around 10pm. Plan accordingly.
Getting around in English
Most people speak basic English and all hotels, restaurants, attractions, and shops have at least one English-speaking member of their staff.
Visas
U.S and Canadian citizens do not require visas for Spain for visits of up to 90 days.
Money
ATMs are everywhere; most hotels and restaurants take major credit cards.
Hours
In general, shops are open during the week from 9am-2pm and from 5pm-9pm. Plan accordingly.
Car rentals
There is fierce competition among car rental firms so if you shop around you’re bound to find a good deal. Renters must be at least 21 and have a valid driver’s license and credit card.
Accommodation
Package holidays rule Ibiza and there are very attractive all-inclusive bargains to be had, especially in the off season. Still, last-minute deals are hard to find – it is best to make hotel and flight reservations at least three months in advance.
