Great Value
This ten-room hotel in a beautiful townhouse in Tunel, one of Istanbul’s up-and-coming neighborhoods, manages to combine a chic aesthetic with good value, all in an area of a town worth getting to know (if still a bit gritty). All of the stylish rooms have different color schemes so ask for a photo… more beforehand if you are picky and opt for one on the higher floors for the best view of the Golden Horn. Added perks are the small kitchenettes so you can try your hand at cooking at home if you so desire and the hotel’s restaurant, Le Petit Bistrot, which seems like it has been plucked out of Paris.
