Housed in a former distillery with incredible views of Bosporus bridge and the city (especially at night), the hotel was the labor of love of an architect husband-and-wife pair who turned the place into one of the best lodgings in town. The rooms are large with comfy beds, flat-screen TVs, and in many, glassed-in fireplaces. Most have the jaw-dropping backdrop of the suspension bridge which is particularly beautiful after the sun sets. The property just opened a spa, and there is complimentary service that makes the 15-minute trip to downtown a few times a day. The only drawback is getting back home after a night out as you’ll have to take a cab home which can be expensive, especially when the traffic lives up to its reputation.
