Jerusalem When To Go

Peak Season: June to September
Summer is considered the high season by all hotels and tour operators, however the high temperatures (reaching up to 100˚F) may deter a few travelers from visiting.
Off Season: April; September to October
The days surrounding the Jewish high-holidays are often quite busy. Dates vary from year to year, but usually fall around late September to early October. April’s Passover can also be a fairly busy time. Expect temperate weather – warm by day and chilly by night – and better hotel deals, though not during the holidays.
Sweet Spot: December to March
Winter in Jerusalem can be extremely cold. Don’t be surprised to experience heavy rains and even the occasional snowstorm. Hotel prices are at their lowest during this time.
