Overview

Most of Jordan’s hotel development is currently centered on Aqaba, and more construction cranes dominate the skyline than minarets. The best resorts are clustered together just west of the town center and tend to function as destination resorts, with private beaches designed exclusively for guests’ … more use, multiple restaurants, and other distracting amenities. As there is no town to speak of on Jordan's side of the Dead Sea, destination resorts also dominate this area.
