Kauai Getting There

All flights arrive and depart from Lihue Airport (LIH) in southeast Kauai.

Twenty-three domestic carriers and 16 international airlines offer service to Hawaii. Almost all of them require a transfer in Honolulu before heading to Kauai, though United offers direct service from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Lihue, and American has a daily nonstop flight from L.A.

5.5 hours from the West Coast; 11 hours from the East Coast. The inter-island flight to Kauai from Honolulu takes less than 20 minutes.
