Lima When To Go

Peak Season: December to early-March
Temperatures are consistently warm and humid year-round, but December to March (their summer) is definitely the most popular time to visit. Temperatures hover between the mid-70s and the low 80s and beaches are crowded.
Off Season: May to October
Although the winter months are still warm (in the high 60s), a thick gray fog called garúa overtakes the city, making it less appealing to visitors. Still, surfing, which peaks in May, and bullfighting are popular draws during this time.
Sweet Spot: late-March to April; November
During this period the humidity dwindles and travelers may even enjoy a sweater at night. This is a good time to take advantage of crowd-free beaches, which are still warm enough for sunbathing.
