Enter a gorgeous complex of two Edwardian buildings in one of London’s most prestigious neighborhoods, and you’ll be transported to the Victorian era of high art, and classy mahogany-paneled interiors. This elegant hotel pays homage to a bygone time, with its elaborately appointed public… more rooms featuring a Jacobean Revival chimney piece, oriental porcelain period pieces, and plush sofas throughout. The individually decorated rooms boast flowery Victorian themes, sumptuous deep-colored fabrics, sturdy wood furniture, half-canopied beds, and granite-clad bathrooms with showers and bathtubs. On top of 32 graceful rooms, there are also two luxurious suites – the Leighton and the Rossetti – each appointed with a jacuzzi, a rooftop terrace, air-conditioning, and CD/DVD players; suite guests receive free access to a nearby health club.
