Peak Season: April to mid-June; September to October Temperatures are at their most pleasant, streets bustle with locals, and outdoor activities abound.

Off Season: January to March The weather is relatively cold and gloomy, the streets and terraces lack action, but hotels do lower their prices.

Sweet Spot: late-June to August If you can stand the soaring temperatures you’ll get the best bang for your buck in summer months, with one caveat: Most locals leave the city and many restaurants and bars shut down completely, especially in August.
