Maine: Itineraries

Long Weekend Settle into the balmy beach scene in York or Ogunquit, or camp out in the wilds of Acadia National Park. A mid-coast option is a weekend in Camden spent sailing, shopping, and dining out.

One Week Meander up the entire Mid-Coast Region on Route 1 – stretching from Bath to Lincolnville. Spend 2 days driving down sheltered inlets to majestic lighthouses. Shop in Rockland and Rockport for 2 days. Sail Camden harbor for a day. End your tour with a weekend in Lincolnville.

Two Weeks Commit quality time (4 days) to the natural wonders of Acadia, followed by a 3-day visit to the Maine Highlands. Spend the next five days slowly traveling the mid-coast and visiting Kennebunkport. Plop yourself on Old Orchard Beach for the final 2 days.
