Maui: Getting There

Airport Most flights to Maui connect via Oahu’s Honolulu Airport (HNL), but a few airlines offer direct flights to Maui’s Kahului Airport (OGG) from the West Coast. Commuter flights service Kapalua/West Maui Airport (JHM) and Hana Airport (HNM) in East Maui.

Airlines From Los Angeles (LAX), fly American, United, Delta, US Airways, Alaska, and Aloha; from San Francisco (SFO), try US Airways, Aloha, and United; from Oakland (OAK) and Phoenix (PHX) your best bet is ATA.

Flight Times 5.5 hours from the West Coast; 11 hours from the East Coast. Inter-island flights to Maui from Honolulu takes less than 30 minutes.
