Overview

For decades, North Americans have thought of Mexico as the place for cheapie beach vacations. While affordable getaways are still possible here, in the last five years Mexico has seen an explosion in upscale hotels and resorts. Now properties in Los Cabos, the Mayan Riviera, and the Costa Alegre rival those in more established Caribbean destinations.
