Moscow’s trademark nightclub has a vast interior jam-packed with showgirls, acrobats, and party-goers. Book a table to avoid the mobbed dance floor.

This “closed club” is one of the hardest to crack in Moscow – only the incredibly fashionable, wealthy, or well-connected make it inside. In summer, the rooftop patio opens up, revealing full-length views of the Moscow River.

The street outside this mainstay is always packed with expensive sedans, beautiful girls, and guys on the make. If you make it past the doorman you’ll find plenty of surplus energy, light, and sound.

This Moscow stalwart has been catering to a young-ish, laid-back crowd since the ‘90s. The dancing continues late into the morning.

Opened in summer 2007, Solyanka has a ’70s-themed interior and music that never stops. Expect to be pulled onto the large dance floor – which is somehow always packed – by any number of revelers.

From the 27th floor of a skyscraper off Kutuzovsky Prospect, take in all of Moscow over cocktails, especially the White House, which Boris Yeltsin ordered shelled during the parliamentary impasse in 1993.

It can be difficult to move around in this always-crowded, multi-level club, but there is always someone to talk to amid the crashing house music.
