Füssen

The 700-plus-year-old town of Füssen is a must for Neuschwanstein, one of the great castles built by “Mad” King Ludwig II, a riot of little towers standing atop a rock. If you have a day extra, drop by Ludwig’s second castle, Linderhof (www.linderhof.de).

Chiemsee
