Nantucket Getting There

Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK) is the island’s main transportation hub. Boston Logan Airport (BOS) is the closest international airport with direct flights.

Several regional airlines, such as Cape Air, Island Airlines, and Nantucket Airlines, serve the island directly. Major airlines like JetBlue, Continental, and US Airways – all of which connect through Boston – also serve Nantucket, though most flights only operate in the summer.

It’s a 50-minute flight from Boston and a 70-minute flight from New York. Factor in another 8 hours from Los Angeles including about two hours time for a layover.
