Nevis Getting There

Airports
There is only one airport on Nevis – the one-runway Vance W. Amory International Airport (NEV). It takes less than half an hour by taxi to reach all resorts from the airport.
Airlines
There are no direct flights from the U.S. to Nevis, so you’ll have to fly through Antigua, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, or Puerto Rico. Several major carriers (Delta, American, Continental) now offer direct routes to St. Kitts a few times a week (though Delta does not fly to St. Kitts in October). American Eagle offers two daily flights from San Juan to Nevis; flights are also available from St. Maarten and Antigua on international carriers like LIAT and Carib Aviation.
Flight Times
Total travel time from New York to Nevis is just a little over 5 hours; from Los Angeles it’s around 13 hours. The flight time from St. Kitts to Nevis is approximately 7 minutes.
Ferries
Several ferry companies run daily services, with trips roughly on the hour, between St. Kitts and Nevis. The 45-minute crossing is a breezy trip with beautiful views of both islands; no reservations are required. Ferries generally run from around 7am through 5pm, with extended service on weekends. Visit www.nevisnaturally.com for ferry times and more information.
