Fly into Albuquerque, then drive or take a shuttle north to soak up Santa Fe. On your return to the airport, give yourself a few hours to see Albuquerque’s Old Town Plaza.
One Week
Spend three days in Santa Fe, then travel along the scenic Río Grande Gorge to Taos, stopping at Taos Pueblo and the Taos Inn. After 2 days, head down to enjoy Albuquerque for another 2 days before flying home.
Two Weeks
Explore Santa Fe in 4 days; take the historic High Road to Taos for another 4. Return to Albuquerque for day trips to Chaco Canyon, Acoma Pueblo, and the Sandía Mountains. Spend your last 2 days visiting Carlsbad Caverns.
