Norway Getting There

Airports
Norway’s main international airport is Oslo-Gardermoen (OSL), 31 miles north of Oslo’s city center. Bergen Airport (BGO) is the second busiest international airport in the country, and lies 12 miles south of Bergen.
Airlines
Continental Airlines is currently the only airline offering nonstop flights between New York and Oslo. Other airlines operating between the two cities, with a stopover somewhere in Europe, include Northwest, American Airlines, and Delta. Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) flies from New York, Seattle, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., to Oslo with a stopover in either Stockholm or Copenhagen. Norwegian is a no-frills airline linking many of the towns within Norway, as well as some cities in Europe.
Flight Times
8 hours nonstop from New York; 13 hours from Los Angeles; 1-3 hours from most European cities.
