Peak Season: December to April Winter months, essentially Christmas through Easter, are considered the high season, and are blissfully warm, with cooling trade winds and low humidity.
Off Season: June; September Early summer and early fall are technically low season, a surge in family travel during June, July and August keeps prices high and resorts crowded, especially at some of the more moderate properties that cater to children.
Sweet Spot: May; October For the best bang for your buck, steal away to a luxury resort in May or early June or visit in September or October, before the wave seekers and whale watchers begin to arrive in November.
