Orlando: When To Go

Peak Season: late-May to August (plus all school holidays) Families swarm Orlando when school is out, so expect patience-testing wait times for attractions. Summer means high heat and humidity, plus afternoon thunderstorms. Christmas break draws the biggest crowds of all.

Off Season: October to April (except Christmas, Thanksgiving and spring break) The first two weeks of December is the best time to dodge the masses. Added bonus: hurricane season is over and temperatures are mild.

Sweet Spot: Early May; September Visiting right before or after summer break alleviates the crowding issue somewhat, but temperatures can still be quite toasty.
