Airports
User-friendly and accessible, Kansai International Airport (KIX) is Osaka’s main international airport, built on a man-made island in Osaka Bay and 40 minutes by train to Namba in central Osaka. Itami, 9 miles north of Umeda, is the city’s main domestic airport and is most easily accessible via bus.

American, United, Continental, and Northwest are among the international carriers that fly into KIX.
