International Airport (OSL) at Gardemoen is 31 miles out of Oslo, but it’s just 20 minutes into the city on the fast Airport Express Train (www.flytoget.no).

Continental flies nonstop from Newark to Oslo (the only nonstop flight between the U.S. and Norway). United offers direct flights between Oslo and New York (connecting in Frankfurt), with its JFK hub offering connections to other U.S. cities.
