Portobelo, Colón province

The party in Panama City doesn’t stop until the sun comes up. Revelers gather in historic Casco Viejo and high-end Amador Causeway, a string of Panama Bay islands with ocean and city views.

Panama City

Glide across almost 4,000-feet of the jungle canopy, one of the least studied parts of the rainforest, to spot plants, bird life, and animals that you won’t see on the forest floor.

You won’t find a Panama Hat in Panama - they’re made in Ecuador - but head to the Balboa Artisans Market to find a variety of native Panamanian handicrafts.

Remember your trip with recreations of huacas, gold relics found at Pre-Colombian burial sites, and other ancient designs from the famous Reprosa jewelry store in Panama City.
