Prescott was Arizona’s first territorial capital and today contains over 600 buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Along Whiskey Row in downtown, visitors will find unique shops, historic saloons, and restaurants. The area boasts some 450 miles of hiking and biking trails in Prescott National Forest, while five regional lakes are ideal for fishing and kayaking.
