Phuket Shopping

This mega-mall on the outskirts of Phuket Town offers a much-needed break from browsing all the beachfront stalls selling pirated goods. It's the place to find designer furnishings and fab fashions.

Shopaholics go to Phuket's capital to get their fix – and not only because prices tend to be lower than at the beach resorts. Find great values on handicrafts, souvenirs and antiques in the Sino-Portuguese shop houses.

Patong is filled with shops and stalls open all day, but the streets really come alive after sunset, when the beachside town becomes a huge night bazaar, with beachfront Thaweewhong Road as its hub. Come here for beachwear, silks, CDs, DVDs, tourist paraphernalia, and souvenirs.
