Porto When To Go

The city comes alive with festivals and events, such as the raucous celebration on St John’s Eve (June 23), in honor of the summer solstice and the martyr saint of São João, with a fun night-time fiesta on the Ribeira.

Although it gets its fair share of rain and fog in wintertime, Porto has a mild climate and temperatures are never below freezing.

Spring and summer visitors haven’t arrived yet, prices are lower and the weather perfectly pleasant.
