North American flights arrive at Gregorio Luperón International Airport (POP) seven miles east of Playa Dorada.

American Airlines/American Eagle, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, and US Airways all fly from the US; Air Canada flies from Montreal and Toronto. Many flights travel non-stop from New York and Miami, although some connect via San Juan and Santo Domingo.

8-9 from the west coast, 5-6 from the Midwest, 2-4 from the east coast. Allow an extra 1-4 hours for flights involving a change of plane.
