Off Season: June to September
Summer temperatures average in the 80s and 90s, but cool mountain breezes provide a refreshing reprieve. Some restaurants and bars are closed during September. Although this is the rainy season, the Bay of Banderas protects PV from high winds.
Sweet Spot: May; October
To get the most for your money, and fewer crowds to boot, we recommend visiting in October or May. Weather is pleasant (high 70s to low 80s), establishments are open, and discounts are available at most hotels.
