Quebec City Nightlife

Nightlife

Though charming by day, the streets of Quebec City come to life at night. Whether you prefer to sip wine, guzzle locally produced beer, or dance the night away, you’re sure to find just what you’re looking for after dark. The word “cocktail” means the same thing in French as it more does in English, after all, and the Quebecois tend to believe it’s a great way to kick off an evening no matter what language you’re speaking. Be sure to order a “caribou,” a blend of port, brandy, and maple sap. Most bars and clubs close around 2am or 3am.
