Riviera Maya: Itineraries

One week You can spend 4 nights on the Maya Riviera and 3 nights in one of the haciendas near Merida, giving you a chance to see this beautiful colonial city, plus check out Chichen Itza, Uxmal, and Izamal—splitting your stay between a hacienda and a beach resort.

Two weeks Spend 2 days in Cancun, 5 days on the Maya Riviera, 4 days exploring the inland Yucatán, including the Convent Route (a series of colonial-era towns on the main route to Uxmal) and the Mayan ruins, and another 3 days on Isla Holbox. Or, skip Cancun and spend 2 or 3 days on Isla Mujeres.
