Sherman's Expert Review

With Spanish-style rooms sprawling up a tree-filled hillside, it’s hard to believe this charming hotel is a Best Western; expect handcrafted Santa Fe furnishings and private balconies.

"Why Didn't I Stay Here Before"

This hotel was so convenient to old town, which I regularly frequent. I normally stay at another Old Town hotel but this was a spur of the moment trip and that hotel was booked so I checked online and found this one. What a great surprise. This... more

"Beautiful hotel, not so nice staff"

We checked in and were greeted by a very dry and unwelcoming front desk staff. The girls at the counter weren't friendly or helpful at all. After some confusion of finding our room and parking in the crazy roundabout parking garage, we settled in to... more

"Aggressive manager"

They have a sign out front for $10 parking. We parked inside and they have a machine that takes cash only. I went into the lobby with my 3 kids to ask where I could find a ATM. The girl at the front desk was very rude and tried to direct me to a bar... more

"false advertising; extortion"

This hotel has a good location and a nice look. Be forewarned, though, it's on a steep hillside, and there are many, many stairs to navigate. The worst part is the blatant false advertising. Two cases: first, my room was advertised as a "suite",... more
