Sedona: When To Go

Peak Season: March to June; September to November Spring and fall are the most congested – expect the area's highest hotel rates and densest crowds. We recommend a springtime visit when the forest and desert plants are in full bloom. Temperatures average 70-80ºF.

Off Season: December to February The usually mild winter (expect highs around 55 ºF) is the best time to score good deals on lodging, and a great time to see attractions without the masses. Keep in mind that it occasionally snows.

Sweet Spot: July to August Although temperatures can occasionally be quite hot, you'll find better deals on lodging and have lots of warm, sunny days with low humidity for your outdoor activities. Daytime temperatures are usually above 90ºF.
