West of Seoul, Incheon Airport (ICN) handles most of the country’s international flights. It replaced Gimpo Airport (GMP) which now services domestic destinations with some connections to Japan and China. A rail link connecting the two airports was completed March 2007.
Airlines
Korean Air and Asiana are the major domestic carriers. Most of the world’s leading carriers, including US Airways, Lufthansa and Delta, fly to Incheon International.
Flight Times
Non-stop flights from New York’s JFK take 15 hours. From San Francisco, non-stop flight time is 13 hours.
