Sonoma: Getting There

Airport The Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa (STS) offers limited commercial airline service. Most visitors fly in via San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK) and take ground transportation to Sonoma.

Airlines STS is primarily served by Horizon Air, though other airlines will make stops here. All major U.S. carriers – United, Continental, American Airlines, Delta, and US Airways – and a wide range of international carriers, serve SFO. Southwest, Jet Blue, and Alaska are among carriers that serve OAK.

Flight Times Times into Santa Rosa vary, as the only nonstop flights are from Los Angeles and Seattle. To SFO or OAK: 6.5 hours non-stop from the East Coast; 4 hours from the Midwest; 90 minutes from Southern California; two hours from the Northwest.
