Southern Thailand Beaches: Itineraries

Long Weekend Spend 2-3 days exploring either Koh Samui on the Gulf side or Phuket on the west (Andaman) coast; then venture out to neighbouring islands like Koh Pha Ngan or Koh Phi Phi for another 2 days.

One Week Enough time for some serious island hopping. Divide your time between Koh Samui (3 days) and the larger Phuket (4 days).

Two Weeks Fourteen days give you enough time to discover the best of Thailand's beaches. Start off with 3 days in Koh Samui before travelling overland to the Andaman Coast (about 180 miles along winding roads through mountainous jungles). Spend 2 days at Khao Sok National Park, relax in Phuket (4 days), travel further south to Koh Lanta (3 days), and end your trip at the beautiful coves of Krabi (3 days).
