Peak Season: December to April Prices are higher than usual, but still lower than those in Europe or the United States. Enjoy fabulous festivals, appealingly warm days averaging 85 degrees, balmy nights, and practically no rain.

Off Season: May to October In addition to lower rates at hotels and resorts, the summer brings higher humidity, though steady breezes make it bearable. The weather on the two coasts differs slightly – Phuket, on the west (Andaman) coast, experiences more rain, with frequent afternoon showers in May and October. March to June can be scorching on Koh Samui and the rest of the Gulf Coast, while October brings the occasional storm.
