Madrid Barajas International Airport (MAD) is the main airport for direct and nonstop flights from the United States. Barcelona International Airport (BCN) is also a popular Spanish gateway.

American Airlines, Continental, Delta, US Airways, Iberia, Spanair, and Air Europa offer nonstop flights from New York City, Newark, Philadelphia, Miami, Boston, and Atlanta to Madrid. Delta flies nonstop from New York (JFK) to Barcelona.
Flight Times
7 hours nonstop from the East Coast to Madrid; 12 hours from Los Angeles to Madrid (including at least one stop); add another 40 minutes of flight time if connecting to Barcelona, Valencia, or Seville.
