Overview

Like many of its central and eastern European brethren, St. Petersburg has seen its culinary scene--non-existent under the commissars--explode over the last two decades. While excellent foreign cuisine is served up citywide, visitors should also seek out local fare at a Russian PECTOPAH (the Russian Cyrillic rendering for “restaurant”).
