Sweden When To Go

Peak Season: May to September
With upwards of 20 hours of sunlight a day in northern regions of the country, these summer months are the most popular for travel. Roundtrip fares run as high as $2,000.
Off Season: November to March
If you can brave bone-chillingly cold (think -2°F in Kiruna) and dark Scandinavian winters, the best deals to Sweden can be found between November and March. Keep in mind that you will be facing only 5 hours of sunlight a day.
Sweet Spot: April; October
Great deals on airfare and hotels can be found in April, when Sweden is fresh off a cold winter, yet not quite into summer. Likewise, October, when most tourists have fled the country in anticipation of the approaching winter, is also a good time to score low fares.
