Tahiti Itineraries

Spend the first night at the InterContinental Resort in Tahiti, then take the first morning flight out to Bora Bora and stay for two nights. Get an overwater bungalow facing Mt. Otemanu and don't leave except to snorkel under your bed. If you have another two nights, spend them on Moorea. Rent a buggy or jeep for a 2-3 hour tour of the island.

Spend three nights each on Bora Bora and Moorea. Dine out in Bora Bora at Bloody Mary's, the local must-see restaurant. Scuba or visit a pearl farm.

Spend a full day in Tahiti, striking out from Papeete to swim in the waterfalls and springs on the island's west coast, then jet off to Bora Bora. Spend four nights in an overwater bungalow (you might want to try two different resorts for a pair of nights in each, as transfers are fast and easy) before embarking on the Bora Bora Cruise (six nights). Spend last two nights on Moorea.
