Peak Season: July to September These are the driest months and the most popular time to visit, as reflected in higher hotel prices. Italian and French tourists flock to the islands in August.

Off Season: December to March These are the wettest months (and the buggiest), so you might get rain and mosquito bites for two weeks straight, or lots of sun and fun – it’s a crapshoot.

Sweet Spot: April; November Expect good weather, smaller crowds, and better hotel rates.
