Peak Season: June to September Book well in advance for accommodations and popular restaurants, and be prepared to get in line for top attractions. Summer is the perfect time to explore; Pacific breezes keep temperatures tempting, although the waters are less balmy.

Off Season: October to December Skyscrapers, Christmas lights, and ski slopes twinkle in the shorter, darker days, when temperatures inch down to the low 30s. December events keep the city surprisingly popular with visitors.

Sweet Spot: January to May Take advantage of lighter crowds to see museums and galleries and to sample Vancouver’s multicultural menu offerings. March is Vancouver’s wettest month, though January and February are close behind.
