This six-room country house in the center of Venice is a family-run property that was the residence of composer Gustav Mahler’s widow, Alma, in the 1920s. Each room is uniquely furnished, splashed with dark wood, fresh flowers, cream-colored furniture, original art work, and wrought-iron bed posts. All rooms overlook the lush olive garden for which the hotel is named after. The towering barn-of-a-church, the Frari – one of Venice’s main attractions – is just steps away.
