Most visitors fly to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and catch a bus or a limo to cover the 85 miles to Whistler. Chartered helicopter flights to Whistler leave from YVR’s South Terminal.

Air Canada and Canadian budget carrier WestJet are most prominent at YVR. Most major U.S. carriers – including Alaska, Northwest, Horizon, United, and Continental – provide regular service north of the border.
Flight Times
Vancouver is less than 1 hour from Seattle, over 2 hours from San Francisco; 5.5 hours from New York if you manage to snag a direct flight on Continental, United, or Cathay Pacific. Whistler is 2 hours drive north from there.
