Zurich Getting There

Zürich airport (ZRH) is the country’s main air hub. With its excellent duty free shopping, restaurants, bars, and Internet access, it’s a fine place to kill time waiting for a flight. Trains make the 10-minute trip to the city center frequently.

Zürich airport is served by over 120 airlines to over 120 destinations. The national carrier is Swiss International Air Lines, which flies to New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston. US Airways, Continental Airlines, and American Airlines all connect the U.S. with the city as well.

Zürich is around 8 hours on a direct non-stop service from New York, almost 10 hours from Chicago, and 12.5 hours from Los Angeles.
