La Concha's 1920s roots are made obvious once you step foot into the lobby: marble floors, Art Deco fixtures, and period antiques abound. Black-and-white photographs of celebrated former guests (Harry Truman, Ernest Hemingway) add to the vintage charm of this city staple. Rooms are small and somewhat old-fashioned, but at seven stories, it's still the tallest building in town, making The Top, its rooftop bar with wraparound deck, a favorite for sunset cocktails. The hotel also scores points for its convenient Duval Street location, swimming pool, and on-site Starbucks.
