Definitely much larger than the B&Bs Key West are known for, Ocean Key has 100 brightly colored rooms and suites with private balconies and terraces, whirlpool tubs, and hand-painted armoires. Located between Key West Harbor and Mallory Square on a very busy section of Duval Street, the hotel is perfectly poised for watching the city's applause-inspiring sunsets while sipping tropical libations. The heated pool and Liquid Lounge overlook the Gulf of Mexico, as do a pair of restaurants (one serves casual fare on Sunset Pier, the other upscale "conch-fusion" cuisine, a blend of Florida, Latin, and Caribbean flavors). Balinese and Thai treatments are offered in SpaTerre to complete the experience.
