Getting to Key West

Most people fly into Miami (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and then either drive or catch a connecting flight to Key West. Direct flights to Key West (EYW) are rare and more expensive.

US Airways, Continental, Delta, America Airlines, and Alaska Airlines are just a few of the major carriers that fly into Miami International Airport. Key West (EYW) receives flights from several major airlines, most of which connect through Miami; Cape Air connects Key West with Fort Myers (RSW) on Florida's Gulf Coast.

Flight Times

Two hours to Miami from the Northeast; 3.5 hours from the Midwest; 5 hours from the West Coast, and 7 hours from the Northwest.
