Finger Lakes

Dozens of wineries dot the winding roads, hillside vineyards, and lakeside slopes between and around the Finger Lakes. Riesling, chardonnay, cabernet franc, and pinot noir flourish here, providing a wine to please any palate. The wine trails run along the lakesides, where B&Bs and verdant scenery are both plentiful. How long you spend at each winery determines the number you can see in a day, but it’s virtually impossible to see them all in a day, even on one trail.
