Considering its relatively sparse surroundings, this 11-room budget property sure is noisy. That’s because it’s located above a live music venue of the same name and sleep sensitive guests will be none too pleased to hear the banging of drums until the wee hours. That said, if you’re visiting Portland on the cheap and looking for a truly original crash pad, look no further. Historic photographs of band performances line the hallways and hand-painted lyrics adorn the walls of every room while Chenille-covered beds offer at least a modicum of comfort.
